Rachel Mulligan, Managing Director/Founder

As the founder of SSSCP, Rachel’s passion and commitment to excellence are evident in every aspect of her work. With a career deeply rooted in the construction and built environment sectors, she witnessed troubling industry attitudes toward competency, a reality tragically highlighted by the Grenfell incident. So shocked by the lack of rigorous standards for evidencing competency, Rachel was personally driven to make a difference.

Inspired by Dame Judith Hackitt's message of building a safer future, Rachel dedicated her career to creating a solution to evidence the competency of individuals. To drive culture change and improve behaviours across the industry, all while working towards the gold standard in industry practices.

Her background includes the design and development of several recruitment software CRMs, equipping her with a unique blend of technical and industry expertise. With over 20 years of experience in recruitment and six years in global sales and distribution, she is a seasoned leader across various sectors. Known for her process-driven approach and strong commitment to continuous improvement, she consistently delivers the very best for her clients and partners.

Amanda Gill, Personal Assistant to Directors / Office Manager

Amanda Gill is an exceptionally organised and versatile professional with a distinguished record of success across multiple sectors, including the military, education, and charitable sectors. Her diverse experience equips her with a unique perspective and an extensive skill set that enriches her contributions to our team.

Having served as the personal assistant to the Commander of British Forces in Bosnia, Amanda demonstrated an exceptional capacity to manage high-level responsibilities with precision and professionalism. In this role, she expertly coordinated complex schedules, prioritised critical tasks, and handled sensitive information with utmost confidentiality. Her adeptness in effective communication, discretion, and meticulous attention to detail were further honed here, establishing her as a dependable asset within senior leadership teams.

Beyond her military background, Amanda has made impactful contributions in the education and charity sectors, where her organisational acumen and leadership abilities shone. She has managed projects, led teams, and ensured smooth operational flow, underscoring her capability to drive successful outcomes in diverse environments. In particular, her work with The Soldiers' Charity involved extensive responsibilities in merchandise and financial management, where she displayed her adeptness in financial operations and resource management. Her experience in this role speaks to her analytical and logistical skills, which are vital to maintaining efficiency and integrity in complex processes.

Andrew Gill Non-Executive Director, Operations Manager

Andrew Gill is an experienced Military Logistics and Infrastructure Specialist and former senior member of the British Army, bringing exceptional expertise in large-scale, multinational operations and a deep commitment to operational excellence. With a career spanning both the British Army and law enforcement, Andrew has demonstrated exceptional leadership and a commitment to effective, high-stakes operational management.

Andrew’s experience includes spearheading the complex withdrawal of British troops from Shaiba Air Base in Iraq, overseeing the base's dismantling and its formal handover to the Iraqi government. He coordinated closely with the Home Office, British and foreign military units, and local Iraqi contractors, ensuring a seamless and efficient transition process. His role in Iraq is part of a broader career in which he has also played key roles in the establishment and operation of military bases in Afghanistan and Kosovo, gaining expertise in base planning, construction, and maintenance.

In his role at SSS Compliance Services, Andrew draws upon his extensive background in both the British Army and law enforcement, offering invaluable insights and skills to the organisation’s operations. His distinguished career and the rank of Regimental Sergeant Major reflect his ability to inspire, lead, and manage teams effectively. Andrew's methodical, detail-oriented approach allows him to solve complex issues while supporting strategic growth and operational efficiency at SSS Compliance Services.

Andrew is also a skilled investigator, recognised for his ability to dissect complex situations and extract critical insights. His investigative skills, combined with his methodical approach, have been instrumental in developing innovative strategies and solutions at SSS Compliance Services. His experience working collaboratively with departments, senior staff, and external agencies enhances his ability to build strong partnerships and drive effective cross-functional initiatives within the organisation.

An effective trainer and mentor, Andrew has developed and delivered numerous training programs across various topics. He is also an experienced assessor, recognised for his ability to evaluate and verify learners’ competencies against industry standards, empowering individuals to reach their full potential. His involvement in schools to mentor students and promote positive behaviours underscores his commitment to fostering growth and responsibility in others.

Andrew is deeply committed to SSS Compliance Services' mission to enhance safety, safeguard lives, and empower duty holders to meet legal obligations under the Building Safety Act. His current focus includes the successful development and launch of an industry-leading compliance management platform, setting a new benchmark for safety and efficiency.
